OnePlus 7T launches in India, Snapdragon 855 Plus from Rs 37,999

Finally, OnePlus 7T launched in India with the OnePlus TV at an event in New Delhi. The phone prices start with 37,999 and go upto Rs. 39,999. OnePlus 7T will go sale on especially Amazon Great Indian Sale.

OnePlus has been teasing several features of the OnePlus 7T for a while now and it is evident that this phone is an answer to the current generation flagship killer from rivals such as Asus, Honor, Xiaomi and Oppo. However, this is the first time since the OnePlus 3T that the T series OnePlus device is getting a brand new chipset from Qualcomm. However, there's more to the OnePlus 7T than just a new chipset.

OnePlus 7T come with 8GB Ram and 128GB storage. And this price will be Rs. 37.999. And the another variant with 8GB Ram and 256GB storage, and will sell for Rs. 39,999. The phone will be available in two color variant Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver. The phone base variant to available in only Frosted Silver color.

OnePlus 7T specifications

OnePlus 7T were already revealed before launch event. Unlike the OnePlus 7 which was essentially an upgraded OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7T is a new phone in many ways. The newness starts right from the 6.55-inch Full HD+ display that uses an Optic AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus says the display supports HDR10+ colours and uses a faster in-display fingerprint sensor.

However, what makes all OnePlus phones special is the performance and OnePlus clearly seems to have taken care of it. The OnePlus 7T gets the more powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset - a chipset that Qualcomm says delivers 15 per cent better graphics performance and 4 per cent improvement in CPU performance over the regular Snapdragon 855. The chip is aided by UFS 3.0 storage for faster app load times. The phone also comes with a stereo speaker setup optimised with Dolby Atmos

However, the highlight here is that OnePlus is bringing a new version of Oxygen OS based on Android 10 that brings many new features. Android 10 brings in a new gesture navigation system along with security and privacy enhancements.

Camera
OnePlus has two front cameras and three rear cameras. The rear camera setup with 48MP main camera with 1/2Inch Sony IMX586 sensor, F1.6 aperture lens and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The second camera gets a 16-megapixel sensor with wide-angle lens offering 117-degree field of view. The third camera is a 12-megapixel sensor offering 2x optical zoom. OnePlus 7T has superior dual camera. Front camera is 16MP sensor camera for selfie.

OnePlus has bigger 3800 mAh battery for long backup. The phone to gets up 30W Warp Charge adapter, the the phone can now charge 18 per cent faster than the OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus is calling it the Warp Charge 30T.
